Etiquette for the 21st Century Scholarship Awards
Imagine Etiquette Inc. (“IEIC”) announces its Etiquette for the 21st Century Scholarship Awards Program.
For six years, Bernadette Fernandez, owner of IEIC has been offering in-person enrichment classes as an elective or an after-school program in public, private, and charter schools (in the Greater Los Angeles area). Now that in-person learning has pivoted to virtual learning due to the coronavirus pandemic coupled with severe budget cuts in school districts, many students are no longer benefiting from the valuable service of social-emotional learning (SEL) which enables them to develop confidence and leadership-building skills to apply in their academic and personal lives. Some students can afford to be enrolled in the enrichment program outside of the school curriculum, but unfortunately, some cannot. Therefore, Bernadette is on a mission to leave no child behind.
From October through the end of the school year (June 2023), IEIC will offer ten (10) scholarships (per session) to middle and high school students across the U.S. to attend the VASE™ four-week program. Students will experience the VASE™ program, a unique curriculum designed by Fernandez, owner and director, that teaches etiquette, resilience, an in-depth understanding of peer pressure, and how the lack of self-worth can lead to poor decision-making.
Applications will be accepted throughout the school year and are available starting October 1, 2022. The first session begins the week of October 5th. These are stressful times for students, and it’s important they continue to have structure and positive reinforcement.
All completed applications will be reviewed by Imagine’s scholarship committee. The top-scoring applicants will receive the scholarship. Winner’s of IEIC’s scholarships will be notified by email within two weeks prior to the start of the current scheduled session.
Good Luck to all applicants for the 2022-2023 school year!
