Scholarship Awards for IEIC’s BELLS Program

Imagine Etiquette Inc. (“IEIC”) announces its BELLS Scholarship Awards Program.

For years, Bernadette Fernandez, owner of IEIC, has offered in-person enrichment classes as an elective or an after-school program in public, private, and charter schools (in the Greater Los Angeles area). Ms. Fernandez thought it would be a great idea to create a social etiquette program allowing high school students to receive credits toward graduation requirements. Thus, in 2018, Ms. Fernandez established the Business Etiquette Leadership and Life Skills (BELLS) program. The BELLS curriculum is U-C Doorways approved as a “g” elective course designed to prepare high school students for college and career success. Students learn about responsible budgeting, financial literacy, interviewing skills, resume writing, entrepreneurship, and other crucial life skills.

The BELLS program is a must-needed course and will build confidence in life skills for every student upon completion of this program. While some parents can afford to enroll their high students in the BELLS program, others cannot. Therefore, by creating the BELLS Scholarship Awards Program, Ms. Fernandez can ensure that all high school students will take advantage of the opportunity to enroll in the BELLS program.

Every year, IEIC will offer five (5) scholarships to high school students nationwide to enroll in the BELLS semester-based online program. Students will experience a unique curriculum emphasizing analytical thinking and are academically challenged through substantial reading, writing, problem-solving, and project-based learning.

Applications are accepted every year on August 1st, and the deadline to apply for consideration is October 30th. IEIC’s scholarship committee will review all completed applications and notify the winners by email within one month before the scheduled start date of the BELLS program. The top-scoring five (5) applicants will receive the scholarship.

Good Luck to all applicants!
